Who is this Jewish, singing, sweetheart?
A little bit about me and how I landed my dream job!
Ever see a catering manager at the back of the ceremony with tears in her eyes?
That's where you could find me early in my career. I’m a a sucker for a chuppah. Every weekend I was doing another wedding, and while the rest of my team would be taking a well-deserved break, I would peak the ceremony.
Something about two people standing in front of their community, declaring their never ending commitment to each other, gets me every time.
Take a peek in my event fanny pack and you’ll find my phone, lip balm, my schedule, and TISSUES!
In high school I started performing in community theatre productions.
I loved the family of performers, crew members, and creatives coming together to make a live, once-in-a-lifetime moment on stage.
After graduating from musical theatre school I did what any other actor does in a big city; I started working for a catering company! I was a server for one of the premier companies in Toronto, working at some of the most beautiful venues alongside the most respected event planners.
Lights, cameras, music, makeup, beautiful dresses—
I quickly realized that event planners were some of the best stage managers I had ever worked with!
After falling in love with the events industry, I quickly became a junior events coordinator at the same catering company. Planning catered events at the Globe and Mail Centre and Evergreen Brickworks, among others, I knew that I was where I was meant to be!

“You were professional, organized, responsive to all the many requests. Seamless and so helpful from our first contact to the end of the night. With a million things flying at you, you were unflappable and respectful to all. You helped me to relax, be present and enjoy the event without a care. I’m so lucky to have had your help.”
— ADELL, MOTHER-of-THE-BRIDE
When I’m not knee deep in spreadsheets and emails, I’m a dedicated dog mom.
That’s right, my bully breed rescue, named Lady, is my dog-reactive maniac who loves her family and dog cousins—but hates everyone else. If I can handle her, surely I can handle your rowdy wedding party. Or a rambunctious horah.
Most evenings, you'll find us at home cuddling while catching up on Netflix reality shows OR training and working on her reactivity.
My fiance and I love living in the city.
Usually choosing the latest restaurant for our weekly date nights—where you can bet I’m dressing up way too fancy to flex my latest purchases. (Faves include my Effortless pants and my black Babaton cropped jacket.)
Gotta get down that cost-per-wear, right?!
I am a country-singing girl. My REPEATS are “Next thing you know” by Jordan Davis and “The Good Ones” by Gabby Barret, both of which are in the running for first dance songs at MY wedding in November 2025.

What’s your favourite musical?
Mine is In the Heights… I’m a sucker for Lin Manuel Miranda.
Weddings are the most romantic musicals EVER.
They really are a stage production from top to bottom. You are your costume designer. Your wedding party and family are your cast. Your venue is your theatre. You’re the stars of the show. And I’m your stage manager!
Let me take care of the most important production of your entire lives.
Whether you’re a spreadsheet queen, a design diva—or want nothing to do with your own planning— I have something for you.
From full-service planning (because you’re already booked and busy) to month-of coordination (you want the big day HANDLED), Events by Fay will bring that opening night energy.
I can’t wait to chat and support you in planning the magical celebration you deserve.
